If you are the kind of person who often feels jealous about the success of others then you probably live in constant fear. It is not the kind of fear that makes you think someone is going to hurt you physically. It is a psychological fear that makes you feel as if some aspects of your life are in constant jeopardy.

If you live in the Western world, chances are that you are better off than everyone except royalty was even a hundred years ago. You've got access to exotic foods that even kings and queens would never have seen as recently as a century ago.

Stop spending all of your time being jealous of another's success and figure out what you love to do that will allow you to be successful. This can be speaking, writing, jogging, or creating new products. Whatever you love to do and that you can make money doing, then write it down and research what it takes be successful.

Jealousy is an indication that you don't feel secure. You will often think that you are "not good enough" and you can't help comparing yourself with other people. The more you do that, the more jealous you will feel. No two individuals are the same, everyone are unique in their own ways.

Trust your partner and yourself. Jealousy can drive away your partner, you need to believe your judgment in choosing him or her as your partner. Even if you have some bad experience from the past relationships, forgive and move on. Remember, no two people are the same.

However jealousy can go out of control and this is very damaging. Many times jealousy can hurt the ones you and can strain relationships with loved ones, friends and colleagues. Your partner may feel they have to walk on eggshells the whole time and if you are the jealous one then you may be constantly emotional.

Make sure to say this to your girlfriend. Appearing cool and confident of who are and where you are right now is enough to remind you to stop being jealous. There's no point and I cannot stress more why it's silly to be jealous of your girlfriend's ex. You know inside you that you're way better.

If a guy needs you to tell him that he must not flirt with other women, then you may want to re-evaluate your relationship. If your man is getting numbers from waitresses while winking at the girl on the next table, then your jealous feelings are more than justified.

You're amazing and great, and that's the reason why your loved one is with you right now. Be confident and tell yourself that jealousy will absolutely do you no good. Enjoy the moment. Past is past and what matters are here and now.
